United We Stand

United We Stand was named British Fanzine of the Year in 2012 and was first published in 1989, a period when Manchester United was markedly different from its current stature. Over the years, it has produced more than 200 issues—approximately 11 per season—and has established itself as one of the most prominent football fanzines in Britain.

The majority of UWS contributors are dedicated United supporters who attend matches both at Old Trafford and away fixtures. Their writing is characterized by incisiveness, independence, and a degree of irreverence, reflecting a commitment to honest and unvarnished commentary. Each issue comprises 44 pages, providing comprehensive coverage and candid assessments of MUFC events and issues. The magazine maintains strong industry contacts and features a diverse range of opinions, from insider insights to sharp analysis by experienced writers and award-winning columnists such as Jim White.

UWS has conducted in-depth interviews with a broad spectrum of United-related figures, including Roy Keane, Ian Brown, Sir Alex Ferguson, and club officials like David Gill, Martin Edwards, and Peter Kenyon. The digital edition for iPad and iPhone offers selected pages from the latest issue immediately upon release. Subscription options within the app provide full access to each issue—encompassing every page—and an archive dating back to April 2012. Issues are not sold individually; rather, subscribers gain access to the entire archive during their subscription period.

Subscribers can synchronize past issues to their device for offline reading. Existing issues remain accessible after subscription expiration unless removed by the device due to storage constraints. Re-downloading requires an active subscription.
